There are several stories that belong to this old building. The building itself was completely redone in the early 2000's but the library is an old one.
The Children's Library
One story is on the ghosts that wondered around the old children's section. The librarians would report books flying off their shelves, decorations to be put out of place, and desks and papers to be thrown, even if no one was even there. There is also the ghost of a little boy who likes to sit in a specific red chair. The children's section used to be on the second floor of the library, it still is but it has grown in size, yet it is difficult to really remember what was exactly where since the renovation (floorplan-wise).
The Lady
Another is about the lady in the lower levels of the library. The area remains the same today as it had been in the building's original design that holds all genres. It is said that at times people can see a lady dressed in old western clothing - a long dark dress, and a big hat - walking towards the doors to the bathrooms. She disappears as she reaches the wall.
The Soldier
The last story is about the soldier that can be seen in the library's basement. No one knows who he really is but librarians have claimed to see him roaming around the area.
The library is also rumored to have been built over an old cemetery.
