The stories here are mainly about the famous people burried here. Of course there may be something paranormal here since it is infact a cemetery. There have been photos that can prove paranormal appearances as well but people tend to focus their attention to a few people/areas such as the famous gunfighter John Wesley Hardin, the Chinese cemetery, and the Buffalo soldiers.
John Wesley Hardin
The famous gunfighter John Wesley Hardin is buried in Concordia. You can't miss him, with his elegant gate-like tomb, marked with his initials. Though he was born in Bonham, Texas he made most of his known life in El Paso. He was killed August 19, 1895. It was years later when his family demanded his body be returned to his hometown but the city refused, having already set his burial, and so J.W.H will remain a part of El Paso forever.
The Buffalo Soldiers
The buffalo soldiers were military troops made entirely of African-American men. They usually fought during around the times of the civil war to as late as 1944. They have recently been given a memorial in Concordia.
The Chinese Cemetery
There is a lot in Concordia specifically made for the Chinese. It was from the early days of the city. It, among other places, is named as a highly active area for the paranormal by investigators.
There is a specific lot in Concordia that, for years, was specifically made for the burial of children, most who died of diseases like pneumonia. Psychics and paranormal investigators both claim this to be one of the "hottest" spots for activity.
